Shipped Africa is a small launch board. This page says what we collect and what we do with it, in plain words.

What we collect

  • When you submit a product: what you type into the form, plus your name and email, so we can review it and reply.
  • If you have an account: your name, email, and a scrambled version of your password. We can’t read your actual password — not even to help you.
  • Anything you choose to add: a photo, a short bio, links. All optional, all public on your profile.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell your details, and we don’t hand them to advertisers.
  • We don’t follow you around other websites.
  • We don’t email you about anything except your own submission, unless you asked us to.

Cookies

Two, and both are there to make the site work rather than to watch you:

  • One keeps you logged in.
  • One stops another website from submitting forms while pretending to be you.

There’s no cookie banner because there’s nothing to turn off. Clear them and you’ll simply be logged out. We don’t run ads or third-party trackers.

Getting your data back — or deleted

Email us and we’ll send you a copy of what we hold, fix anything that’s wrong, or delete it. You don’t need to give a reason, and we’ll confirm once it’s done.

Deleting your account removes your profile. Products already on the board stay up unless you ask us to take those down too — just say so in the same email.

Questions

Email [email protected] and a person will reply. We’ll expand this page as the site grows; the date at the top is when it last changed.
