Submission guidelines
We read every submission by hand. Here’s what we look for, so you know before you submit.
What we feature
- Built for an African market. The product serves African users or markets — it doesn’t have to serve them exclusively, so something built for Kenya and the UK counts. You don’t have to be based in Africa either; a founder anywhere building for the continent counts. List the African markets you serve when you submit.
- People can use it. A live app, a working beta, or an open repo. Not launched yet? That’s fine if you can show it working with a real demo or walkthrough.
- Real apps, tools, marketplaces, fintech, hardware — all welcome.
What we don’t feature
- Waitlists, landing pages, or “coming soon” with nothing to try and no demo
- Directories, template packs, and boilerplates
- Courses, reports, ebooks, and paid newsletters
- Deal, coupon, and dropship sites
- “Get rich”, MLM, and affiliate schemes
- Token or crypto launches with no working product
- Duplicates or reposts of a product already on the board
What happens after you submit
- We read it by hand. Every submission, usually within a few days. No queue position to game and no launch hour to hit — it’s read whenever it arrives.
- You get an email either way. If it’s a fit, it goes live on the board and we tell you. If it isn’t, we tell you why in plain words.
- Your listing stays up. It stays on the board, findable by market, category and search, and it links straight to your product — long after the day you submitted.
If we say no
A no is usually about timing, not quality — most of what we pass on is a fit later, once there’s something people can try. We’ll say which part of these guidelines it came down to.
If you think we got it wrong, or you’ve shipped something since, reply to that email and we’ll look again. Resubmitting after a real change is welcome — it isn’t one strike.
How the board is ordered
Newest first. There are no votes and no ranking, so nothing depends on how many people you can get online in the first hour. Every listing gets the same time at the top, then stays findable through its category, its market, and search — a product further down the board is still the first thing someone browsing its market sees.

Suggest it — a link and an optional note, no account needed. We check every suggestion, and if it fits we list it ourselves; the maker can claim the listing any time. Suggest a product.

Please do. It’s early enough that one person can shape a real part of it — design, code, or helping read submissions. To be straight with you: it isn’t paid and there’s no equity.
